this will sound really dumb, feel stupid for even posting but I cant find the answer.

Im building a 6bolt up for my 2g, but want to buy all the bolt ons that I can for my 7bolt that will be able to change over to the 6 when I get that in.

one of the main boltons is a intake pipe, but there are so many different kinds I have no idea what to get, nor know if it will even switch over. examples are 2 1/2" pipe 3"+ with gm maf, 2g maf, no maf, yadda yadda.

keep it mind I want to swap it to a BUILT 6bolt, so id rather just buy it once and never again. so what one do i want to get? or do i have to wait untill my 6bolt is done?

and is the K&N filters still the best, or do I want to opt for something like a HKS super mega flow?

Three things to consider:
1. MAF type
2. Compressor inlet size
3. Routing of any FMIC piping

Yes, the intake pipe is not nessasery for now. My 311whp dyno was with the stock accordian. It is not all that important for now, in the future (when you decide on what turbo you are goingto run) get the proper size 1 time. You will appreciate the wait if you can save yourself time/hassle.

Right on. I am currently on my second Dejontool intake pipe, and will be selling it and replacing with ANOTHER Dejontool pipe because my setup is changing a little.
