Just spend the money and get larger injectors than you need...Get v3 full cause it's only like 75$ difference.

Your going to need an afpr to handle the 255..

Any 16g should get you over 300hp....If you plan on running 20+psi I would get arp headstuds..

im getting a 16g with a tubular manifold and the ss oil feed line, j pipe and ported o2 housing ect... for $550.
that should bolt right up?

the 16g has only 500 miles and no shaft play at all.

There is a $120 difference from v3 lite to v3 full and there is nothing wrong with using v3 lite. I started on v3 lite and would still be using it now if it wasn't for the BBG (boost by gear) setup which requires v3 full. Most DSMers will find that the lite version will do everything they need. Down the road if you need to upgrade, like I did, it's only $125 so you aren't losing anything. ECMTuning, Inc.

yeah you only save $5 when you buy full new over light. you can definitely wait for that small of a price diff. just grab it used and upgrade later if need be.

The main diff (this is a rough summary from what i remember and is not 100% but close enough... read ecmtuning wiki for 100% accuracy...) is that Full adds control over programmed outputs like activating ecm controlled solenoids (BCS, FPS, EGR solenoid... etc) for nitrous use and ecu based boost control (like^^^ said) for example. also more things which i havent researched.

Basically most if it is there with lite. you will get your car up and running (tune dependent) on just about any configuration (ie "virtually any" fuel pump, fuel pressure, injector size, turbo size, intake size, gm maf, speed density stock mas...etc)

Its just "extra" controls besides basic running functionality. you still get tools that help you setup maf compensation, and base VE values in v3 lite.

Long story short go lite it will do just fine for now, its not really any discount to go all out full unless its used. and get the biggest injectors you can afford. at you budget you wont be able to over do it unless u get a crazy deal.

(what everyone else said...)

I used to be on corvetteforum (i owned a vette) and just about everywhere I look (here, there, anywhere) everyone swears by Fuel injector clinic (FIC) I will be buying their injectors when i upgrade.

I agree with get as big as you can afford but just to throw this out there, I tried 1600cc and couldn't get them dialed in. My afr was not where I liked it. Another little thing that lite don't have is with sd, you can only rev to 8 and I think 27 psi.

You can rev as high as you want, you just can't make additional changes past 8,000 RPM's. Again, this is fine for the majority of DSMers. Here is the full product comparison between v3 FULL and LITE: prodcompare [ECMTuning - wiki]
