I am running a 14b stock turbo on my 1g. My stock 1g exhaust manifold is cracked. It now seems that I am best off with a 2g IM simply due to reliability.

I'd like to delay spool if possible for better gas mileage. Am I better off with a ported 2g exhaust manifold or a non ported one?

Also, what about the O2 housing? Should I port my 1g O2 housing to meet that goal or just leave it alone? Should I even bother to seek out a 2g O2 housing? I know that the oxygen sensor location is different.

Current goal for the car is just to be a daily long distance beater boosting only as much as the stock fuel setup will support. It is also a fuel economy project.

Thanks
