What else should i have done to my head?

okay i am going to go drop off my car at a machine shop to have my 2G head intake side ported out for a 1G intake mani, but what else should i have done while i'm there, since the port job is only $100.

If you aren't willing to replace any of the internals have them clean it up some. Check the tolerances for everything and get rid of any carbon buildup. Throw it back together with some ARP headstuds and good gasket.

I am having my 2G head ported out to fit a 1G intake, because i could not find a alright 1G head for my car. So i just went with plan B.

once again why? By your mod list you still have the stock t-25. If anything you should just have them port match your 2g manifold and open up the TB flange for a 1g TB. Is the machine shop using a CNC machine for porting? Air flow with be altered.

But do it anyways if it makes you happy. You might notice something but probly not. Its just a mod to do now that will help out a lot in the future.

There is nothing wrong with the 2G head, it's the small intake manifold plenum holding you back. Magnus makes a 2G intake manifold.
