Alright so I have a brand new Fp race manifold that is gonna hang my holset H1c. I gave up on getting a shield as they are discontinued and rare or just too much $ right now. Maybe in the future I will mock up one of my own or something.

Back on track, what coating should I use on this manifold? I really don't want to have to ship it out so TCC and SWAIN are out of the question. What can I get done locally that is good quality?

Thanks.

VHT has a exhaust paint with Ceramic in it. Make sure to clean the manifold with MEK so that there is no residue what so ever. Try to keep it extremely clean during installation. Follow the instructions for heat cycling very closely. If your motor is in a good state of tune you should not have any issues with the paint.

Yeah just make sure to follow the instructions on the vht carefully. I didn't and it looks like cat poop now.
You could look around locally and see if anybody coats parts
