What else do i need to make 400awhp?

So for a while, I've been thinking about what I'd need to get my car breaking the 400awhp. At the moment, here are the mods i have.

1G 90 TSI w/ 6 bolt motor (stock)
Evo 3 Exhaust Mani
PTE 5031E non-ball bearing
Dejon tool 2.5 intake pipe (upgrading to 3" w/ 12" K&N filter)
Evo 3 O2 housing
RRE Downpipe 2.5" - 3"
3" test pipe
Apexi N1 3" Catback
SRB FMIC race core 24x12x3.5
Walbro 255
Evo 560cc injectors - need to upgrade... was thinking about 720cc
HKS VPC
HKS GCC
Innovate xd16 wideband o2 + A/F gauge
I have a non-eprom ecu
Stock intake mani
ACT 2100 + flywheel
Greddy Turbo timer
Greddy Profec type S
Defi gauges
Megan FPR

What would you guys recommend me upgrading next with this setup to get into the 400's?

Drivetrain mods? LSD? Clutch?Flywheel?
I'm sure you can get close to 400awhp with a 50trim on dynojet numbers. A bigger turbo could easy gain you 400+
Boost bout 25psi race gas, that would help.

Whats your HP right now? I havent Dynoed my Talon yet I'm running a PTE 57 Trim (small wheels).

Also, breaking 400awhp isn't easy. Right now with your current mods I say you are 275-315awhp. Don't get discourage though, you aren't far from getting more power

sorry i forgot to mention, i also have an ACT 2100 pressure plate and ACT's flywheel. I don't have any other drivetrain mods yet. I'll be rebuilding my tranny later and maybe then i'll get an LSD installed. Right now i have a stock 3 bolt rear end, but i'm not planning on launching very hard.

I haven't had the chance to get it dynoed yet, but i wanted to get other's opinions and experience when similar setups and where they are at.

It sucks that i don't have an eprom ecu, so i have no way to modify timing. The only tuning i can do at this point is w/ the vpc / gcc.

well your VPC GCC aren't your only tuning tools, you can pickup a SAFC to help out with Tuning. I'd recommend some 680-720cc Injectors help you raise boost. When I have race gas in my car I turn up my boost to 25 psi and it ####ing flies and pulls extremely hard.

Well tuning is key, tuning alone can gain you more power so I suggest before you decide to dyno, fix all your problems. That way you don't feel like you wasted 50+bux for nothing.

If your mod list in your profile is updated then I would say about the same 275-315. It all depends, power can vary from how much boost you run, pump or race gas or methanol mix. How well your tuning is, a simple base or fine tuning. I estimated your dyno on 20-25psi with race gas. Cams would help and if you are looking to be a dyno queen an easy free power is aftermarket intake manifold like JMF, Magnus or Venom (But you need all supporting mods before you buy a intake manifold). Intake manifold should never be one of your first mods.

yea, i'm planning on getting 720cc injectors soon.

I wanted to upgrade to DSMlink, but at the price, i'd rather go get AEM EMS so i wouldn't have to use a piggyback system. At this point i'm trying to maximize the setup i have now. I think my goals are within reasonable reach with the vpc / some other fuel system (afc).

The ONLY thing keeping you below 400hp, right now, is your injectors and a good tune.

Greddy, when I go do a Dyno I'm looking to be on race gas with 25 psi. My tuning is above base but not fine. I also plan on having 272 Cams and a FMIC before the Dyno.

Addicted, with 272 cams I'm pretty sure you will make 325awhp or more. You have a pretty nice setup.

Thanks Greddy, I know the 57 Trim is a hardly used turbo so I want to try and max it out to show everyone what it's fully capable of. I'm glad with just cams I can throw down 325to the wheels. My friends tell me I should be 280 to the wheels and high 12's

Addicted, with your mods (and especially if you get some cams) I would be disappointed to only be making 325 whp. My (much smaller) 16G took me to 300 awhp @ 17psi on pump gas. It's all about the tuning, though.

I'm wanting to atleast have 300AWHP with my setup as it is. I've been told by a friend that I should be 330 at the crank and probably 280 at the wheels and i'm like uh dude this isnt a small turbo and I have a good bit of mods on the car. I'm looking to Dyno at MOD 06 and hopefully with some Forced Performance FP2 Cams.

Yea that's exactly what I was thinking. A turbo that size making under 350whp is embarassing. I think greddy's numbers are a little off. I put down 266awhp with an Evo III @ 18psi, pump gas, and a stock sidemount. I could make 325awhp all day long with a front mount and the same pump gas.

What you need is DSM link or the AEM standalone. And you can't start shooting for 400whp when you don't even know how close you are now.

Id have to say that Id do alcohol injection, 720cc injectors, dsmlink, and zero gap piston rings. While you're down there, throw in some rods, pistons, and bearings and you'll have a stable block. Also consider an aluminum radiator and some high flow slim line fans to cut down on some weight and heat. Im pretty sure that they were still using copper when your car was made.
