What effect can I expect from a TDO5H-18G

HI!!!

Guys I have been trying to find some info about Greddys TDO5H-18G Turbo, Cant seem to find numbers on it, I would like to know the "estimated" HP out that I can get on the factory manifold.

Have searched the forums and cant find any numbers on it so I would appreciate any help I can get.

Why I am asking is because of I am going to do a compelete upgrade so to speak, with injector swap, downpipe, the works... and it is going to cost me I know that..

Why I ask about the Greddy turbo is because my friend offered me one to a real nice price.. (brand new) and well I need ur help,

i believe the 18G's flow around 575ish CFMs.. most people dont go the 18G route because it's too costly for the performance it makes. but in your case a good price always makes it an option

HAD. I have his 18G now-- this one has a TD06 comp housing, actually. Haven't got it installed yet, though, cuz it's set up for external gate. Note that the Greddy has a larger turbine housing than a typical Mitsu 18G-- the Greddy has like a 8.5cm housing or somesuch.

With the correct engine setup the Greddy 18g will good for more hp than the BIG 16G?

yea but the kit is about $2000 for that you can get a TD06 20G or 50-Trim and smoke it

Ok.. so how is the spool on the TD06 20G vs the Greddy 18g? (sorry for the lack knowledge and beeing such a noob)

But the 20g uses an external wastegate correct?

To get back on subject.. DONT BOTHER TO DISCUSS THE PRICE.

In theory the 18G should get more HP to the wheels than the Big 16G correct? And btw The eclipse it is going to be used on is a 2nd gen eclipse GST.

based on flow numbers yes.. i know for a fact that an 18G flows more than a 16G, so everything else equal, an 18G will put down bigger numbers [ how big, who knows ]

oh, and you can get 20G's internally gated

spool up will depend on tuning and varies car by car...

Looks like i am going for the greddy, since i got such a nice price on it.. (expensive here in sweden u know.. )
