I have a 1995 talon and I have to make a decision. I like my car it is an automatic but i still like it. When my stock turbo broke i got a 16g turbo put on and i have a boost gauge, k&n intake, boost controller. There is some problems i need to get the timing belt changed, i need to replace the valve cover gasket, water pump, and fuel filter. The only think i really know how to do is the valve cover gasket. So it would cost me around $450-500 to get the rest of the things done. The bad part is the guy who installed my 16g says the car was not taken car of until i got it. He says some of the internals look like they have 200k miles instead of 66k. SO what should i do sell my car and buy a 97-99 gsx m/t or keep my and fix it?

You are chancing finding another beat down gsx. I was faced with the same desision when i had my Z. the same guy had owned the car since 1991, and i was only the 2nd owner. But for 11 years, he trashed the thing. So i was left cleaning up the cars interior,
exterior..motor...everything. 4000 later, the cars motor was darn near perfect. then some other stuff broke down and i couldnt pay for it anymore.

if you love the car, take car of it. spend the money. if not, dump it.

In your earlier post you said he said it looks like the internals have 150k on them, now they have 200k... :confused: Refer to your other thread bro.
