Ask Me,
Virginia
I see alot of measurements of various bolts and holes etc on here.
I just wanted to know how you all are taking those measurements when a ruler won't fit in alot of areas.
What kind of tool do I need to buy to take these kinds of measurements?
Say I wanted to check the runout on a flywheel or pressure plate?
What could I use if I wanted to check the flywheel thickness around a bolt hole?
I think that I could save a bit of money and time if I was able to take accurate measurements.
I guess I could get a ruler and then stick an object through the hole and then measure it if I was on a budget, but that won't work for everything.
Any ideas, I am headed over to Harbor Freight soon so I figure now would be a good time to investigate.
Thanks!
