I found some threads on this topic, but no visuals, boo! :notgood:

So anyway what do these wires near the alternator go to? The second pic is some nipple thing on the power steering pump (I have a feeling that's where the wire closest to the camera goes) I have no idea where the green wire with the black clip goes to

Correct, the booted wire in the first picture goes on the power steering pump.

I really can't tell what the other item in question is because I can't see it. Alternator plug? Oil dummy light? Oil pressure sender?

Well it's just a single green wire with a black clip at the end, it looks just like the yellow wire that connects to that prong next to the oil filter. btw what does that power steering connection do anyway?

The single wire plug at the powersteering pump is the pressure switch I believe. I don't know specifics, but on the logger it shows the powersteering switch inactive with the wheel straight, and active with any steering wheel movement. I'm guessing the ecu uses that input for idle compensation.

As for the other plug, I don't know where it goes off the top of my head, but I saw an identical plug going underneath the engine last time I was under the car.

edit* found these pics from when I was trying to diagnose my oil leak, hope they help. I believe the green wire plug is connected to a plug that goes to the sensor in the 2nd picture.

Well that sure would make sense, My car has been stalling out when I'm sitting at red lights  I'll bet you anything this will fix it LOL

As for that green connection, I see what you mean, I'll have to check that out on my car first thing tomorrow morning, thanks :thumb:

That pressure sensor on the pump is only to increase the idle when you turn the wheel. If it only stalls when you turn the wheel that might fix it.

Well I got the steering pump wire connected, but I looked all over and I cannot find where the greene wire goes  my setup doesn't look quite like yours allthrottle
