My goal is 300-350 whp. Given my current mods does anyone know exactly what I will need to reach this?

Ive read the guide and I was considering a big 16G ,and fuel pump upgrade next. Also, I've read that stock injectors can handle a B16g. Is thas true? Depending upon funds, I could try to squeeze either a FMIC or bigger injectors at the same time.

I thought that some people might have some personal experience but all you guys want to do is screw around with me. I figured that if I posted anything a couple of pricks would give their "know it all" 2 cents. That's why I've waited to register and post for so long.
Thanks anyway.

Well to get to the 350hp mark you will need a few upgrades.

-first you need to decide on a turbo, the smallest turbo that would get you there is the 16g(which if all you want is 300ish then I would go with this one) If you are looking for much over 300ish I would start to look at someting a bit larger. There are many choices to choose from that will actually get you there but you have to decide on how much lag you are willing to deal with, how much money you want to spend(this is a big one, a 16g can be had for 300 used whereas a 50 trim or larger would usually run you 500 at least), Also do you think you would ever want more?? If your answer is yes in the least bit I say go with a larger turbo and just don't run it to its full potential.

-You will need a fmic, the greddy one works fine since you already have the uicp and licp. Or you could go with amore expensive option and buy one of the short routed intercooler setup from one of this sites vendor. Really its up to how much you want to spend but you will need one for sure. FWIW I bought my greddy 24r of this site for 350 almost new so good deals are out there you just have to wait.

-You will deffinately need larger injectors. A 16g will easily overun 550's so I say just skip that step and jump to something a bit larger. IMO going pretty big is better than going bigger only to find out its not enough. Meaning I would just go straight to 720's just to be safe. Overkill? maybe but its better than having to buy another set of injectors later. A 190lph fuel pump will be more than enough for 300whp but again you might want to spring for the 255, however, if you do buy a 255 buy an afpr at the same time or before. Not doing so will cause the stock fpr to be overrun and will make it nearly impossible to tune that car and it will run like crap.

-Lastly you need some way of tunning. Many people have had good luck with the standard pocketlogger/wideband/safc combo. I made pretty good power with this set up myself. The maf-t is also another option that you have. If you have a larger budget to spend you can go with something like dsmlink or aem.

All in all it depends on how much you8r willing to spend and if you realy think you will be happy with 300hp(i wasn't and most people get over it fast but i'm a bit jaded  ) then you can go the more "budget" route, whereas if you think you will have the hp bug like some of us then I would spring for the more expensive route that will have the potential to turn out some really good numbers.

yeah I'd suggest either an evo 3 16G or a 16G used. atleast 650cc injectors, used fmic kit, walbro fuel pump or supra pump, used safc 2...boost gauge atleast, you can add a downpipe and 3inch exhaust cutout to your stock exhaust to keep it sleeper or to make it cheaper then a newer full 3inch turboback exhaust. I'd definately make sure it was tuned. My question wouldn't be how cheap I can make 300-350whp for $1500 it would be, How safe I can make my dsm for $1500 safely, because if you blow what you have, it'll just put you more in debt.

If I get bigger injectors I have to have the AFC right? I'll need a logger in order to tune it properly? So my biggest concern when upgrading to a bigger turbo is definately fuel.

Check out my vehicle profile. I'm confident with my setup, I'm reaching 370hp on 91-octane. That's a rough estimate, as I haven't run on a dyno yet, but after some researching and info about others' buildups, the 350-370 mark seems very achieveable, with plenty of headroom.
