What connectors are these?

I'm more curious than anything since the car ran fine since the day I bought it without anything plugged into either of these two connectors. They are located under the dash by the top of the clutch pedal.

They are not connectors. They look like the jumper connectors [J/C(1) and J/C(2)]. They connect various circuits together. Leave them alone.
