What are these connectors?

I have these three connectors at the back of my engine bay between the throttle body and the firewall. I took a pic on my phone (sorry for the quality) of them. One is a black connector that looks like it could connect to a ground prong (1 wire:Black/Blue) , the other is a blue connector (2 wires: Black/White, Blue/Red), and finally the other plugs into a wierd tan thing (1 wire: Black/Green). It is making me worry because I have no clue why there would be unplugged connectors. Thanks fellas.

Don't quote me but I think that the black connector allows you to power the fuel pump without starting the car. This can be used to empty the tank and put in some high octane race gas at the track.

here is a great site for seeing what is what under the hood if you have no idea: http://members.shaw.ca/dsm.1000q/Engineprimer/

Yea I agree, looks just like the fuel pump check connector. Curious though how exactly that would be used to empty the tank?
