what can this be? car just shuts off!

Hey all,

Well currently my car is at a shop getting a new clutch (ACT2600). The car drives fine when the gas tank is full but once it goes down to 1/4 or less it starts acting funny. When ever I drive and slowdown to down shift and put the clutch in the car just shuts off. What the hell can this be?? I cleaned the TB and checked the ISC couple moths ago and the motor is fine!

I currently have a AEM EMS with speed density tune done by force power motor sports and it drove great until I was left with 1/4 of gas and it just started turning off whenever I would slow down and put the clutch in as mentioned earlier! Do you guys think I need it re tuned?

Or your gauge is off. did this happen right after the car got tuned.

Check too see that the fuel pump is in properly that will causes all kinds of issues.. When my buddy installed his walboro he did something and the car wouldn't start.. There is a pressure sensor that is there and will kill the car from starting if its not working properly ive seen it several times.. Just a thought.. I doubt its the tune the tune would cause it to run like crap all the time id think not just when the gas level gets low.

Also be sure your BOV is recirculated back to the intake or that your tune is setup so it doesn't have to be..

I will check the fuel pump maybe something is not right there, thanks. The car is set up for speed density so I can vent. This was happening to me when I first bought the car the car would not idle worth sh** so the previous owner screwed around with the bliss screw and got it to idle somehow but after a while every time i would rev over 5k and push the clutch in to switch gears the RPM needle would just go to zero and just shut off while i was still driving. Was thinking maybe it needs a nice tune so i got it tuned and it was working perfectly no shutting off what so ever unit the car was left with 1/4 of gas and started turning off once I push in the clutch to change gears.
