I currently have a Tial bov venting to atmosphere with 10psi off the internal wastegate. It originally had a blow-thru setup which was sold and now has the stock maf.
I am having problems with bov flutter with gas letoff at light acceleration, not while in boost though and minor stalling issues. Also my wideband is showing slightly lean because it isn't recirculating.

What is a good BOV that I could recirculate that would mount to my existing Tial flange?

Thanks, Jeff.

Anyone that does recirculate, you just need to with a MAS system.

Many will agree that the 1g BOV is a great option for anyone thats wants a strong recirculating option BOV. Its cheap and hardy, will handle boost up to 17 psi.

Seeing that you have a TiAL already, then the only other option I can think of that uses that type of flange is a Synapse Engineering BOV or their new Bypass valve system. Their BOV will need an adapter, or you can use their antistall system.

I am currently running Ecmlink V3 lite. The full version does have the option of idle air simulation with people running the setup I have. If I upgrade to this, will it fix my stalling issue?

Also, with my current setup running 10psi off the internal wastegate, having the minor flutter sound when letting off the gas at light throttle, what spring would fix this issue? I think I have the stock one installed but I am not sure.

I think this is for people who have at he FIAV block off, and are not running an ISC.

I think that is normal for low psi application. You might have too strong a spring in the BOV right now.

according to that, you should have a unpainted spring.

Would I notice a significant drop in power if I did this?

Your car is not going to lose power because you use a different BOV.

Just buy a BOV that you can recirculate, your car will run better that way since you are running the stock MAF.

Personally I would just buy a 1g BOV and use that, they are great and you can modify them to hold quite a bit of boost.

Ok thanks for the info. I will probably look for a 1g Bov and will it mount right up no problem?

If you are asking if a 1g BOV will mount to a tial flange then NO it will definitely will NOT.

the attached image s a 1g bov adapter made by jmfab, it is the design of the 1g flange. It is diamond shaped.

We were suggestign the 1g because its proven to work and last. Its a great bov for the price you can get one for. you can recirculate it also.

Ok, so the Tial QR would directly bolt up with nothing more to buy then?

See picture of current.

you dont even have to buy a whole new bov... you can buy just the bottom half of the QR and swap it on to your current Q , everything is the same exept that part.... I'm waiting on my QR to come in the mail right now:D

and yes it will mount the same.

Where can I get the bottom half of the QR and the best price too?

This is the flange that I have and I took off the bov and it wasn't even a Tial. It has nothing written on the top and it looks like a Tial 50mm bov.

So you suggest going with the adapter and 1g Bov then and is the jmfab adapter the right size for mine?
