So my motor has a slight rod knock. I want something that can handle a bit more abuse but not empty my wallet. I like alot of boost. What crank/rod/piston setup do you guys recommend? and what are you currently running?

precision 6031, running 20 lbs. maybe more. power goals, i really don't know. i'd be pretty happy with 350.

So i should just get a stock crank/rods and ill be safe? It was supposed to be at 370 running 23 lbs when it went.

That's because you had a failure either an oiling issue, or detonation/ pre ignition. From last I saw o start motor sports put down 750 awhp on a stock 6 bolt bottom end. Have some quality machine work done and the rest is in the tuning.

A well prepped stock 6 bolt rod/piston combo will go far on a clean tune and quality fuel. Torque is a more accurate way to gauge the stress you're putting on the engine. My 6 year old DIY rebuild put down 600whp/385wtq @ 25-26psi, been running her at 30-31psi for the last 4-5 weeks now.

Don't focus too much on boost numbers till you have some data you can compare them to.
