Sorry for the weird pics. There from the phone and i can't rotate.

So i wanted to post up what i was working on this week.

My 2g decided to blow up. No compression on cyl 3 and 4. compression test wet and dry =0psi. Dry on cyl number 1 and 2 were 120 and 135. wet was 132 and 150. so i have some blow by on the rings on numbers 1 and 2. and some kind of valve train problem on 3-4. Timing belt is nice and tight. And head gasket is good. no water mix, etc.

My 1g is getting closer to being built. I just bought a bunch of stuff from STM for the rebuild. all i need now is machine work

do you think i could get a multi machine discount for machine work. LOL.

Isn't this the same as the 'What did you do to your DSM thread?'

I'm putting my AFPR, new VC, removing my turbo, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, and working on my repairing the rust.

Im sure there are a few of them out there. I didn't want to double post so sorry if i did. I haven't seen any like mine in past few weeks on here...

I did see a thread about your rust/dent repair. tough break bro. the rust looks bad. If you haven't already bought a new VC. i have like 3 extra ones. Ill sell you one cheap if you need one.

I've been in Iraq for a year, so I'm changing all my fluids, rotors, lower control arms(Fronts), retuning the ECU, fixing the E brake, and making a ram scoop to funnel cold air onto my intake. :)

Making an adapter for an oil temp sensor and dying my new to me sparco corsa seat black

Eh no worries.
Thanks, I wish I didn't have to deal with the rust but ah well, she'll be all minty again in no time.

I had an extra VC powder coated so that's what I'm putting on. I've also got plans for this VC coming off (set up for a breather/catch can).

Last week I gutted my bathroom to the studs. Now I'm attempting to rebuild it from the ground up with lots of tempered glass, natural stone, and waterfalls.

haha. very nice. You know i did want to put one of those, hide-a-doors. or sliding doors that goes into the wall in my main bathroom. When i bought my house the owner took the door off because the lack of room. :hmm:

what color was the seat before? there is an interior shop here in my town that does amazing work. he can make a new exterior for the seat and stitch whatever you want in it. like GSX PIMP in the seat or something. LOL. For me i could have dsm whore in there maybe...:tease:

well thank you for all that you do over there. I don't know if you have gotten that very much but much props to you my friend. Might i suggest red line heavy duty red in the diff and xfer case. (if its a GSX) and mt-90 in the trans. And i want to make a nice true cold air intake for my cars. No one makes those anymore...

I've got to bleed my brakes, clutch and fix my cruise control cable before I can drive my car. When I was installing my motor, it caught hold of the cruise control box and streched the cable causing me to have a ton of slack in my gas pedal. Luckily I got one from my friend who deleted his cruise but installing the cables is a pita.

Oh, and trying to unplug my heater core, its getting cold here!
