What are pulleys?

Ok so yes I am a n00b and when people talking about squeezin out power of a 420a they talk about I/H/E, i know that means Intake, Headers, and Exhaust, right? And yes I know what all of those are, I have two of the three done (No Headers). But, I also see people talking about pulleys, now dont hate but what are they, and i always see people talking about them and how they give u decent gains. Please helpo me out, i did search and i only found people talking about them, not saying what they are, thanks again.

basically a UDP (underdrive pully) and lighter pullys will lighten the load on the engine, allowing it to have more useable hp.

Do an "underdrive pulley" search.

It's just reducing the leverage on the end of the crank.
