What and when do i achieve wot?

i know wot is wide open throttle,but when is it achieved .I have done many serches but nothing describes when it is achieved?i recently purchased a stock 92 tsi awd and want to ad performance parts but want to know the bacis's before touching the car.If i get in the car pull the hand brake and floor it is that wot?the trottle is open?How far on the peddle do you push to reach it and how can i mesure it and it's changes?(what aftermarket product will allow me to see and measure this.Also how much does the air/fuel ratio change when leaving wot when the rpm's increase all the way to redline.Has anyone listed a chart in evry gear form idle to redline on how the a/f ratio changes?Please help out if you can as i assume nobody know's everything and to learn you must read,experiment and ask those who know more questions.

It's exactly what it says:

Wide Open Throttle. If the Throttle Body is 100% opened, you are at WOT. Pedal should be all the way down.

That being said,what would the a/f ratio be on idle in the car and what would the a/f ratio be at wot?

Every car is going to be different because of how it is modded and tuned.

Knowing what the a/f ratio is isn't that important unless you are tuning your car, and since yours is a stocker I wouldn't worry about it. Normally it is stable somewhere between lean and rich at idle, and usually rich during WOT. Don't waste your money on an a/f gauge unless you just want some pretty colors When the time comes get ahold of a wideband o2 sensor to monitor it. There are also some other options you could look into though.

yes, i plan on tunning my car so that is why i asked.this way i would have a base to work from so i alsways know where i started from.If your running rich at wot why not tune it so you are in between rich and lean?i ask as i notice alot of people run rich and just live with it but i would prefer to have it tuned exactly to where it should be.\ that was why i asked what thea/f ratio's should be.every car runs differently but my car is stock so what should it be at?Running rich would mean you are burning more gas and have smoke out the exhaust?i'm planning on running a hks vpc and gcc so a wideband o2 would work with these to let me know my readings?
