I'm going to run air density with MAFT PRO and t3/t04b turbo, so i wont have any maf... and i will need a new air filter
Does anybody know which filters are better???
from listed below: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ??? or may be some else?

Personally I wouldn't trust any of them. I'm not saying their complete crap as I haven't used any of them but they are all knock off filters. I would rather spend a couple extra dollars on a filter that you know is actually doing something. The more expensive air filter wont seem to bad compared to having to rebuild your motor because you sucked to much crap in. My vote is go with a real K&N.

If it was me and i was going to invest in all those nice parts (MAFT t3/4). I would go and order a universal K&N that fits my pipe. Who can argue with a 1million mile warranty? I ordered the one i want from O'Rielly Auto parts for $36 and it fit my Dejon VPC intake perfectly. I wouldn't buy any of those cheap filters, but if you must stay away from the foam filtered ones at all cost. The eventually will get sucked in unless there is a screen backing them.

Stop living up the stereotypical DSM guy, which means stop being a cheap bastard and buy something quality.

And I wouldn't go around buying any "t3/t4" turbo, or whatever other ambiguous numbers with turbo behind them.

Well I don't think youll really notice much of a difference between one high flow air filter to another, this is a turbo car not NA where I think they might make abit more difference but is still very minimal. Go with one that you know will filter well & is also high flow, K&N all the way. They offer a tonn of different sizes to meet your needs/preferance.

I like K&N myself. Car had one of those special ones that suppose to filter more blah blah but I didn't feel any noticable difference or see any in logs.

Only reason to go with one of those filters is because money constraints, I would get K&N if the money is no problem, however, although I have a K&N myself, I seriously doubt that there is a hill of beans worth of difference in performance between filters. Thats just my .02 worth.

Last thing you wanna have is your turbo spooling at 15psi and getting your $10 filter sucked right in the turbo.

I have one exactly like this on mine, except mine is red (Said it was for an Evolution & everything)...I've noticed no difference between this k&n knockoff, and an original k&n I used to have on my car. I've had the knockoff for about a year & it still looks almost brand new.

The unfortunate thing with K&N filters is that even though they flow very well, their filtering is shit. I wish Donaldson would get their act together and release cone/open element models of their Endurance air filters. As for those eBay filters, why even waste your money?

Ended up with a cheap chinese filter which looked like a K&N, swapped to a real K&N and gained 100hz on the logger with just the filter change.

When you clean the filter, do you use the oil? That's what makes the filter work by helping trap small particles.

Yes sir. Take a look at the Donaldson filtering technologies and I think you'll be impressed. I have an excellent brochure in front of me but am not having much luck on their website finding anything about the Donaldson technologies.

I have personally used a couple of different brands. One looked exactly like your 2nd pic down. Both ended up falling apart after some time. As far as performance, I didn't notice any difference with them vs the K&N but I have had my K&N for a few years now with no problem. K&N also has a lifetime warranty. Don't go cheap, the only reason I did at first was ### I got the filters at next to nothing. K&N all the way.:thumb:

I have also had a few different air filters over the years and I would definately recommend K&N. First I had some knock off air filter that didn't really give me any noticeable gains, second I had a HKS mega flow air filter; the HKS is definately a good product but it is recommended that you change it out every 4-6,000 miles. At almost $20 a pop it got very expensive. I now have a K&N and am getting the same gains/power that I had with my expensive HKS. It may seem a bit pricey to go with the K&N but in the end I'm sure you won't regret it. You might as well go with one that lasts and not have to worry about it again.
