i have been looking at act 2100 clutches and i plan on having about 250-270hp and i am not sure which on i want to get, i plan on about 65% track use and 35% street.

I have a choice between a street disk, 6 puck or 4 puck. Don't really know what is the better choice, as i also have a few modifications planned that will bump me to about 300-320hp.

any advice from past or current experenice would be most welcome

Street disc is good, you may be able to get away with a 6 puck, and the 4 puck wouldnt be too streetable. It grips tighter than a pedophile in toys 'r us.

Well I can tell you its good for at least that much

I've made up to 5 consecutive drag launches (5k and riding it out hard) without even getting a hint of clutch smell or slip. To this day it functions perfectly and hasn't slipped once.

My friend has a 6 puck in his 1G, its unsprung and its a nightmare in traffic and what I would call "very marginal" for street driving. Your mother will think you don't know how to drive stick. Not my choice for a daily driver. Also consider the driveline stress an unsprung disk will create.

Why not go with a 2600?? It will be able to take much more abuse than a 2100, especially since you say you are going to use the car for mostly track use. Also the street disc I highly recomend. The 6/4 puck clutches tend to wear out faster if used for any sort of street driving because the clutch disc surfaces are alot thinner(just by design of the clutch). Deffinately don't go with an unsprung hub what ever you do. They are pretty much an on and off clutch, you either have to ride the heeellll out of the clutch when taking of from a light/launching or have a super ruff engagement. I friend of mine has made many a mid 11 sec passes on his full weight 2g with 2900 and street disc.
