Went to Mason Dixon with a couple of other guys yesterday hoping to get my first low 12 second pass on my new setup. First time out, 12.69 @111. Bad launch, missing 4th and a little rich. Second run pulled some full and put some timing in up top. 12.27@114. There it is! I was happy but it was still a bit rich. Third run, took some more fuel out. 12.07@ 115. 4th run. 1 more degree of timing, a bit less fuel. and BAM! [email protected]. So needless to say i'm happy with my first time out with the new setup. (I don't think that 76 camaro I left standing was very happy though. ROFL )

Awesome :thumb:

I am also waiting to get my car to the track to see what it will do. Last year the track was rained out 5 months in a row ......so no racing for me all last year. I am hoping for a nice 11 sec pass at 118 or 119.

Congratulations on running some solid times. Just wondering how much timing you went for and how much boost you ran on the 20G.

Keep at it, there's more left in it!

Very impressive times. Keep going at it, im sure theres more left in that setup.

Yea theres more in it. I was only at 21psi  . I don't remember what my timing was. I'll check my logs and let ya know. But for now 11.9's at 21 psi is good for me :rocks:

Hey man, it was nice meeting you yesterday. Cant wait to get my 1st gen done, maybe we can have a rematch then! Either way it was fun racing a car as fast as mine, hope to see ya around again. Oh yea, im the guy that had the STI if you hadnt figured it out yet. Congrats on the 11 sec pass :thumb:

CanadianTSi Damn good driving
I got alot of seat time practicing my launchs in the off season. I think thats what did it.

daren_p Hey, great times . I figured you would have been running more boost then 21 to see those kind of times, keep up the good work
Yea I wasn't sure if it would do it either. Now I can't wait to see what it will do with 26psi and no boost leaks. (my TB shaft seals where leaking a bit)

Hey it was nice meeting you too. And yea we'll definitely get a rematch once you get the 1g done. I should have all my other loose ends tied up and everything by then and have my tranny fixed. (i broke my shift rail on the drive home from the track shifting from 4th to 5th casually :notgood: ) Keep in touch and let me know when its done.

I was spectating Saturday,I saw your 11 sec pass. Congrats!

I figured that was your first 11 pass when you let out the WOOT! driving back past the staging lanes...:D

A leaky water pump sealed my fate for getting my white Galant to the track this weekend (dipping in the 11s is my goal this year too..) but late today (sunday) I got to make a couple maiden passes in my green beater Galant late in the day. Opportunity presented itself when a buddy of mines rail broke,so I decided to borrow his tech sticker and number. :)
