so this morning I go to hop into my GSX to head to an appointment to get the windshield replaced so that I can get my car inspected. I open the door to get in the car and the car alarm that was installed in the car when I bought it started going off. the alarm has never worked for me and I don't know how the alarm got turned on since the remote for it doesn't work.
I pop the hood and disconnect the battery and reconnect it thinking that maybe it would reset itself... no such luck. I start taking apart the interior of the car to find the brain for the alarm figuring
I will just unplug it and go on my way. I find the brain and it turns out its a Clifford solaris g4 system so there is a started kill. at this point the entire dash is apart so I start looking more under the dash and start checking out this "wiring" HACK job. now I have to try and make sense of this mess and try to figure out what needs to be torn out and what needs to be reconnected to the factory harness.
keep in mind this is just the wiring that is under the steering wheel.
