weird tune, but works

Hey all, first "tune" post. This is with evo 560's

So I'm using an safc and torque to monitor fuel trims and timing. I have the low throttle set up perfect and am within +/- 3% on my ltft and stft when cruising. It runs very well. Numbers start at -11 and go to -16 by 4k across.

Here's the weird and complete opposite part. To get my timing in check around 8*-9* and my afr on the wideband at 10.5-11.1 I'm at +11 to +18 on my high settings.... ZERO BOOST LEAKS.

It pulls like crazy to redline at 15psi, timing seems good, afr stays pretty steady. What gives? Why would my numbers mirror exactly opposite?

Does this just fall under every car is different? Thats way off though...
 
So I've been thinking about this more and more. And the only thing I believe I need to do is pull the ecu and check for a chip or if it has been socketed/tuned before. Its a 95 so it should already be eprom. The car came with 660's and ran pretty bad and would break up at wot, even trying to tune it out with the safc. So I got rid of the 660's for profit over what I paid for the 560's, car has ran great but the tune still baffles me on the safc.

Would those correction numbers add up for the injector size swap if it had been tuned for 660's? Even if it had a crappy tune for the 660's...

My safc now after some more fine tuning and tweaking is in the +14 to +27 range at 7k, pretty much every rpm point goes up +2% except for 4.5k & 5k are the same, pulls 10.5 all the way to redline on the wideband... I had it running leaner (10.9-11.4 and it didn't seem to like it according to my timing and couple of hesitation spots. Now it pulls hard and smooth all the way through. Its still bothering me as to why its exactly opposite though. And tuned very different from every other setup I've researched.

I'm also bumped to 17psi, where I wanted to be till I get a bigger front mount for the 16g, it currently has an evo8 intercooler on it
