So the other night I took my car for a drive and did some launchs and pulls. I parked my car and the next day I jumped in fired it up and went to take off and there was nothing. It will move like a inch or two if I really rev it.. It grabbed really well the night before and I had no shifting or slipping issues whatsoever.. When I put it in reverse it sounds like the tranny is spinning because it makes that winding noise they make in reverse but I dont go anywhere. So is this a bad clutch or will a transfer case do this or is the tranny shot. It is a 95 awd with a built motor, lsd front and rear. Fidanza flywheel exedy stage 3 clutch. I have about 400 miles on this clutch any input would be apreciated.

So the night before it made no noises?
Like things coming apart?
Didn't have a friend take it for a drive, while you were
sleepin did ya?

Did you use an oem throw out bearing?
Where does the clutch normally engage, top of pedal throw or bottom?

I would first check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder then have someone else depress the pedal while you check for slave cylinder actuation. Make sure the clutch for is moving properly. From there I'd pull the inspection cover on the underside of the transmission. If all is well with those, you could raise the vehicle completely and support on jack stands. Then very carefully start the car and put it in gear and have someone check to see if the wheels are spinning. Good luck, hope this helps.

I heard absolutely no noises.. I checked and bled the system out.. clutch grabs when pedal is about 3/4 way up. Im going to pull my trans off this was a fresh build with about 400 miles on it so im thinking the main seal on the crank is leaking onto the clutch. I will keep everyone updated.

The driver side axle came out of the trans because the mount that holds the stubs shaft to the engine came loose
