Well to make a long story short, i just bought a 92 Galant VR4 w/ 75,000 miles on it. Since the time i bought it, it would stutter and sometimes it feels like its running on 2 cylinders when trying to start off in first. Also sometimes it feels like the turbo has no pull what so ever. Other times it pulled like it should. The stock manifold had a crack in it and 4 of the studs to the head were broken. I thought this was the problem. So in the process of replacing the manifold i did these mods. I hacked the air can, removed the silencer, 2g ported exhaust manifold, evo3 o2 housing, 3inch downpipe to a 3 inch catco cat, and a 3inch catback with an apexi n1 muffler. But the problem still remains. I have no idea what it can be. Does anybody have an idea what it could be. I don't think it could be my fuel filter or injectors since it doesn't happen all the time.

i have same problem, my turbo sputters after 0+ boost levels, is it becouse it's not getting enough oil in to it? Please help the guy and me!

the fuel injectors could be bad. my car would sputter some times and then other times it would run like a champ. figures out two injectors were not giving fuel.

I bet you guys have boost leaks. My car had a huge one and it felt like i had no pull when i was boosting. All it wanted to do was studder and break up. go to www.vfaq.com and look up in the intake section how to build a boost leak tester. You'll be amazed at all the leaks you find.

If that doesn't work then you may want to try and replace your spark plugs and wires. After all you said your car feels like it runs on two cylinders sometimes. Maybe it does.

i done fixed all my problems took me 5$ to make a boost controller from home depot. a end cap for a pvc pipe and a rubber connector that had clamps on it and a valve stem from the guys car down the street that ows me money.
