Alright i have already searched and all the posts have been check your plugs, wires and for boost leaks.

Has new plugs, new wires about 6k miles ago.
Did a compression test and was strong accross the board.
It's a Non turbo so there is no boost leaks, and i also checked vacum lines.

So my problem is that my car sputters soemtimes, like its misses a cylnder. No codes get thrown, sometimes at a light it stalls out getting going. Im going to change the fuel filter out tonight but is there some other part that i should check out?

btw its a 91 plymout laser RS n/t, 120k miles, Automatic.

Check your coil pack resistance according to your manual.
Get your Ignition/Injector pack checked at your local Autozone or Oreilly's.
Check your spark plugs to see if they are fouled out.
Check you Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) for dead spots and for proper adjustment.
Check your FAIV for full movement in and out. Located directly under your Throttle Body to the left.

All those should be checked to ensure your ECU is getting the right readings and is giving your car the right Air/Fuel mixture when needed.

don't believe it could be timing since its more random them consistant. Like i drove it the other day and it was fine, but my wife is like it does it all the time for me.

i will look into checking the tps and faiv. Not sure what the faiv is though.

have a picture of the fiav? i just changed the fuel filter and there didnt seem to be a change.

Could i have some engine codes even if the check engine light isnt on? if so how do i check the codes?
