95 gst random missing/sputtering problem

I have a problem with my 95 gst, its all stock exept for intercooler piping, test pipe, AEM filter, and NGK irridium plugs. I was driving along at about 40 in 4th and all of a sudden it started sputtering and missing, i pulled up to a stop sign and it was only running at 200 rpm. It barely took off and i ran it out to 4000 and it started running fine, im guna start tommarow my checking the spark and fuel, any other suggestions? thanks

That sounds like random misfire a lot, check you cam angle sensor and you crank angle sensor buddy

Did it flag any codes? Not all codes flag the check engine light. Contrary to above, I don't think it's a random misfire code 0300. That one tends to stay in and makes your car run like crap until you clear it. It doesn't just clear up like you wrote in your post.

Start with plugs (most people recommend copper NGKs btw) and let us know what turns up.

. I never had one explode but I did have one where the center electrode was touching the ground electrode causing my spark to ground out. That took forever to figure out.

Ye it was compleatly nuts center electroid was completly gone

the plugs are fine and the only code its throwing is gas resurculation flow(caused by the test pipe) i drilled out a spark plug anti fouler to trick the o2 sensor, but i havent put it in yet. could that have any thing to do with it? maybe running rich and loading it up?
