Weird problem last night...

Last night i was coming home ...and getting off an onramp....50mph in 3rd gear...all fwd guys knows how much we love that....and i floored it coming off the on ramp...now my boost is set to 15 but creeps to 18....well as the rpms got too 5k...i heard a pop noise then my car suddenly died for a second....kicked back in and the tires chirped...scared the crap outta me...I dont know if this is my clutch that cant handle the power or is it fuel cut or something...Has this happened to anyone? i got a walbro 190, hacked maf...for fuel cut purposes...people told me i shouldnt be fuel cutting like that tho? I also got david brode piping for my IC ....but never did a boost leak check yet...lemme know wut you guys think.

another thing the car is doing is ...when i shift 2nd to 3rd and im on it...the rpms will usually stay at 5k rpms (if it dosent shut off and do that weird problem) for a little bit...then it will proceed to 6500...but it wont just go through its powerband like its suppose 2? Any help would be appreciated.
