Alright I can't figure this out. The noise only comes when I am going over 80mph and it's coming from the passenger side rear tire from what I can hear. Basically it sounds like when you have bad brakes and you slam on them, they kind of thump. We'll it sounds like that only I am not on the brakes, I am accellerating. My rear brakes need replaced but they wouldn't cause that noise unless you are using the brakes right? I thought it was a bent rim or bad tire, but I just replaced all 4 rims and tires and it still does it. Any ideas? Thanks!

i had a problem like that. Whenever I accelerated Id hear a thumping sound comming from the front passenger area, it wasnt load like a flat, but it was obvious. I jacked up the car and truned out I had a torn cv boot. It was a bi*** to replace, you have to remove the entire halfshaft.
