Ok I was driving home from work this morning and heard this weird noise coming from my rear driver side area...it sounded kind of like a rubbing noise or whirring...it got louder the faster I went but was barely heard under 40 MPH...when I got home I looked under the back to see if anything loose...nothing that I could see or feel...any ideas??

Shaft play or differ play. Check your suspension while you are in there. Really hard to tell without something to look at or hear to get a idea...

Balance Tires??? See if you have any kind of excessive wear on one side or the other. Could be wheel bearing, a few different things. Just look underneath and see if any bushings are worn anywhere.

Checked out all the bushings nothing seems to be worn...nothing moves...been working all week haven't had time to jack. It up and take off wheel...the noise kind of sounds like if ## on free way and run over those bumps on the shoulder of the road when u go over the line...its just not that loud but it sounds like that...if that helps?

It is most likely a wheel bearing.

Jack up the car on that side till the tire is off the ground. Grab the tire and see if it has up and down play and back and forth play. If the bearing is bad enough, it may even make the noises while you do this.

Good suggestions so far. Another suggestion is maybe carrier bearings for the driveline. Go WOT a few times in a strong gear and see what you hear / feel

Scoot under the car (on lift, jacks, whatever) and push up on driveline near carrier bearings or just look at the carrier, on trucks they are ripped to shreds due to crappy shifting
