weird jerk from trany or somthing?

95 Eagle talon tsi awd 5 speed. ok i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem but what happens is that im driving and i'm going along shifting around 3 grand most of the time. But when i open the car up and its in 2nd and 3rd gear around 5600 grand the car will jerk like it just got hit and as soon as you get past 56 grand it stops i have not felt this in 4th gear or 5th. i have changed my trany, T case and my diff, fluids. using penzoil syncromesh and red line mt-40. ohh yeah i have also changed my spark plugs and wire with ngk 7s and magstar wires 8.5 cm. so was wondering if this is the rear diff, because when i changed the oils in the rear diff, i broke the seal (meaning it has never been opened) but i did a flush on all the oils and i installed the good stuff so i dont think its an oil problem. there where no peices of metal flake or anything in that matter. but the car also doesent want to shift smooth like it had before that could be a shifter cable(streched). but i was wondering what you guys thought of the situation and could point me in the direction of fixing it.

there are no weird noises that i have herd its just a hard jerk but ill check for boost leaks and fuel cut.

ps. i do have an aftermarket trubo gauge and it shows that the turbo is still pulling stong every time i shift.

ill up date my profile so you can see what i go for after market intake.
 
Well i looked at my boost gauge again at idle and it doesent go to zero. But it goes to IN HG 20 what ever that is its not on the psi rating side. The gauge in my instrament panel shows the same readings as the A-piller gauge does. just thought you would like to know a lil more.

did you do your boost leak test yet? It really doesnt matter what kind of gauge you have right now. I gave you 2 usefull links to tech articals here and the link to the DSM "HOW TO" BIBLE. Go do your leak test, tighten any loose clamps and then come back if the problem persists. Until then your not gonna get anymore answers cause we cant keep helping you over and over again on advice that was already given.

The 20 in/Hg is your vaccuum reading. It's normal. The stock boost gauge is absolutely useless. Don't pay any attention to it unless it really entertains you to watch it go up and down.

you could do that but you will still want to find your gauge so you can see how much air your charging the pipes with. Find the gauge and do your test and fix the leaks, everything will be nice after that i bet.
