weird idle , only sometimes:S

well this has me stumped, I tohught it was a vac leak but it only it does it sometimes, which idles at most 600rpm up an down and sometimes it just does like 30-50 rpms, but it likes to do it at night mostly (colder air????) and when i pound the gas and accelerate after it is doin it, it stops doin it for a while,

some sort of build up or something? im thinking something to do with my throttle body but what do i know about dsm's

well mine started doin that after the motor rebiuld so i just turned the idle down to 1000rpm but in your case i would say its the idle control sensor.

I have this problem too where it only goes up and down very little. Have you had any advances in your problem?
