i dont know if this is a boost leak or what but i was hauling ass the other nite and all of a sudden my car just acted like some one tied a rope to my car and it made a weird noise by the turbo, so now when i drive nice and easy its perfectly fine but when i floor it, it sputters and misfires, what the hell happened, the only thing i can think of is fouled plugs???

Sounds like it to me. Pull them out and check them. Atleast you can find out about 1 possibility.

I would bet on it being that exact problem.

What kind of plugs should i run i know every 1 says the ngk bpr6es but why not the platinum, or irredium, also i have bosch platinum , should i put those on or just go get the NGK BPR6ES???

I used those Bosch plugs you have in your car now cuz they were out of ngks and i was in need. Made my car run like @$$ then got some ngks when they came in and it felt like a different.
Just my two cents.

This is a very common problem, it happened to me too. Get those NGKs, gap them correctly (.028 I believe) and even try getting some 8.5mm wires. I got a set of MSDs for $30 used, and they made a world of difference.

I know when I blew off one of my clamps on my UICP I had the same issues. Anytime i went over 50% throttle it felt like I was going to hit fuel cut. I knew what it was right away....but still took forever to get home with the clamp off.

ah, found your problem here. Platinum is a no no for turbo's. They foul really quick and will cause the car to buck. The previous owner of my car had bosch platinum's in there and I quickly changed it to NGK BPR6EKN they're dual tips (stock). But BPR6ES is still good. Never settle for anything other than those, besides its only $12

i took the NGK BR6ES plugs out of the car that were looking REAL lean, i dont know y or what i should do to change that maybe adjust the air/Fuel screw if cars even have one, LOL well i put in BPR6Es plugs in and problem solved. But curious on what the hell to do with it running lean.

Yeah its stock but redone with bigger internals is what i was told when i bought it i dont know the whole run down of it but i fixed my hoses that had cracks and whatever and now i got 17 and holding.

also when i changed the plugs in my car they were br6es i dont know what the difference is... and the gaps were freaking gapped at .35 almost .40 thats retarded.

they told you that its a stock turbo with bigger internals hmmmmmm:confused: I dont know about that. what do you think guys.
mitch

Just a side note. Before I saw that you fixed your problem I was going to ask you if you had a timing belt cover on and if your wires where strapped down.

I was riding with a fellow Dsm'er whoes wires were not totally strapped and one hit his belt. Effect: Missing, Loss of power almost as if it were a huge boost leak. (And sparks arch to whatever they can;))

Just a heads up!

Good Luck
