This is weird ok i was making a pull and the car just cut out. the CEL light turned on and the pump kept on running. Has anyone ever herad of this? I am stumped. I have a 1g Maf, lower chamber honeycomb removed and the silicone screw flush to the bottom of the camber. My signature tells the rest. Its like the fuel injectors are being cut off no fuel could it be fuel cut? I have an AFC installed to accomidate the fuel. I have the BCS still hooked up for stock boost levels and it still is cutting out. I am perplexed. One thing fixed another broken life of a DSM'er

do you have an aftermarket boost guage?

if so, how much boost are you running? (reason i ask is because i had stock turbo 2g t25 running at ~16lbs.. i dont know why but that was causing my fuel cut at full boost) so saying stock means no MBC, but wastegate may have an issue..

check as much as you can.. usually its the simple things..
maybe not enough spark.. check wires, plugs, coil packs..

check boost leaks..

Goodluck.. Dont forget if you resolve the problem please post, so that it can help someone in the future.. thank you

I was running it stock boost setup to see if the boost could have caused it. So 11-12 psi. I checked for leaks and looked under the hoods wiring to see if there were loose connections. "Some dipshit mechanic before me probed the wires and hacked em up", little did they know it was the ecu to blame for the codes and messed up idle. Neither here nor there anyways no loose connections, vac lines good, mbc setup the best way possible short route.:thumb: So I went out this afternoon to figure it out here is what I came up with.........

Ok no codes. I went out it dided on me backing up no throttle. WTF! I heard the fuel pump still running I was still like WTF!. I smacked the side of the compartment and it stopped. I turned the key off completeley and tried to start it again it did. I got thinking the wires somewhere were loose so I got in there and made sure everything was connected tight and no broken or freyed wires. I had a bracket loose rattling in there i took it out and all is well haven't had it cut out on me again. I never knew it was loose till I went searching.:rocks: the ecu may have a loose connection or something but for now I know what it is. maybe an arching wire.:tease: the bracket keep hitting something tripping the ecu to cut the injectors. Its still unknown but needless to say the "smack" helped me to figure out the culprit ain't it funny how it works like that. In any event I can't say that the "smack" fixed it but it showed me where my problem was. :hellyeah:

UPDATE: It is still doing it somethings loose in the ecu or the relay is messed up the metal one controls the mpi correct its directly in front of the ecu correct? The wierdest thing is that sometimes the cel light comes on but now the factory boost gauge doesn't work I'm gonna loose it here FML! So smacking it when it doesn't start seems to work LOL.

Jesus man, your boosting 20+psi on 560cc injectors, you don't have an accurate way of monitoring AFR since that looks like a narrowband.
Please do some research on supporting mods before you just go cranking up the boost.

Road Race Engineering's Eclipse Fuel Delivery Upgrades <---scroll halfway down.
Even if you do have a fuel pump, you don't know your AFR, your probably picking up knock and running super high EGTs.

Judging from your other multiple threads posting the same thing this is what I've come up with.

You continued to boost very high boost with no means of knowing whats going on with your engine's AFR, timing, knock, etc.
You say the injectors test good but when you removed the injector clip on cyl #1, there is no change - that's obvious that the injector is dead then.
You blow oil all over the place - likely due to fried rings after beating the crap out of your engine.
If your lucky your compression is still decent, the tapping is low oil and lifter tick.

Good luck dude but I think you need to spend some time reading on here before you go farting around and continually running 20+psi without any real way of monitoring whats going on.
