^^^ I have the .40 cal. version. I love everything about it except for the sights. It's much easier to disassemble and clean than my father's Kimber 1911.

Yea, cleaning the Kimber is kind of a pain in the ass, after about the 3rd time it was getting easier. The damn barrel bushingIt's much easier to disassemble and clean than my father's Kimber 1911.

If you do go with the .45 ACP model, get the tactical version with the 5" barrel (unless you will be using it for CCW) because it will offer superior external ballistics due to the increased velocity. It's somewhat a moot point at 7 yards (standard combat pistol distance) but I'm a LR shooter at heart and I freak out about these things
nice! thanks for the info!
Were the sights hard to install?
I would never get a 9! those feel like the .177 co2 bb gun i used to shoot shit with in high school! haha
I think i want the 45acp. If a dope fiend brakes into my house and tries to rape me i want to put his pcp ass down! haha
So its pretty safe without the new thumb safety? I want this over the glock because it seems more safe and feels better in your hand. It also has the loaded chamber indicator so you know when you have one in the hole.
Thanks again for the info, im gonna go see if they have a bi-tone one at my gun store, and if not, when they can get me one!

Leet: Why don't you like 9mm's ? Is it just a PP thing?
Well as everyone knows the .45 does have more dropping power over the 9mm but, if 3 9mm chest shots doesn't stop the target then I guess I have another 14 shots for the job.

The Trijicons are a drop in (well, punch in) fit. Sight bases are pretty much standardised for pistols, there are just different offerings for different guns/uses.
If you don't know how to do it, go with the factory night sights.
