Water pipe seals?

I'm cleaning/painting all the water pipes etc. I pulled the main water pipe out of the water pump and coolant block off the engine. The seals are trashed. Where can I get them? Do I need special o-rings or can I go to a hardware store and get them?

Take the trashed ones to Home Depot and see if you can find something comparable. It will work just fine if you can.

FYI- my injector seals came from HDR (Home Depot Racing). Cost me $3.12 vs. $25 from a vendor.

I looked at a few places and couldn't quite match them up. So I took my vin # to the dealership and made sure that I got the right ones. Even if you are able to find anything at a hardware store I don't know if I would trust them. They are not that much from mitsubishi. If for some reason the generic ones are a little off that means that you are goin to have to take it all apart and do it again. Save youself the time and do it right the first time. But if you don't want to pay as much as the dealer is asking then go with the generic and add some rtv to help seal. Either way you should be okay, but I recommend the OEM ones from Mitsubishi!
