Water Pipe Questions

I'm in the process of sourcing parts for my 90 build and have hit a bump when it comes to the water pipe. I am using the 90 oil filter housing with the external oil cooler so I will not need the coolant provisions on the pipe for the OFH. I just cannot seem to find a 90 water pipe. My question is could I use a 91-94 water pipe and just loop the lines for the OFH? Would the 91-94 pipe mate up with the 90 thermostat housing? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

just a thought... i dont' konw if they're the same or not.. but i would just scoop up a 91-94 thermostat housing to go with it.. you know it will bolt up then.. and thermostat housings arent too spendy.. i got the 1g one for my head swap for like 15 bucks from a yard.. hope it helps..

here is a good thread on options u can do... you can just plug the nipple on the 91+ pipes.. or tap it.. and plug it ... here ya go.. hope this helps

That has crossed my mind, but thats just another thing to source and I already have my 90 thermostat housing powdercoated with new sensors. Worse comes to worse that's what I will do.

EDIT: Didnt see the other thread you posted, looks like I should be able to use a 91+ water pipe. Thanks man!
