Weve only had our 99 Eclipse GS for a bout a month now. Started noticing that the trunk well would get water in it after it rained. Took everything out, cleaned it all up and started hunting.
After reading the posts on here traced it to either the spoiler or the rear window. Noticed that the metal lip under the window had streaks where you could see the water was running over it. Touched it up with some sealant the other day, it rained hard yesterday evening and went out toay-BAM no water. Thanks to the all the members input we are good to go now. :rocks:

Did you clean out the drain tubes that are at the edge of the rubber seal? That may help prevent future leaks.

I did clean the tubes, sure enough the passenger side one was all plugged up, cleaned it up but didnt solve it, Im sure it helped with water issues though becuase it was full of junk, thats when I started on looking at the spolier, esp where the brake light wiring comes through. If Id have been paying more of attention I should have noticed where it was coming from.
