I have an n/t with a turbo and i'm currently running 8PSI with the 14B on 93 octane. What would be a safe boost level with 93 octane and a water injection setup? I'm running stock 450's, a re-wired 255LPH pump, stock sidemount, and a S-AFC is all I have for tuning. I'm just worried that the timing will be advanced to much. If I retard my base timing will it retard the timing throughout the RPM range?

Yes retarding the base timing will take out some time across the board. I'm not sure what a safe boost level is, and you will definitely need a logger (wideband o2 also). Is this on a 420a or a 4g63?

If you are still running a n/t computer, I would make getting turbo timing/fuel maps. If your ecu is eprom you can have it socketed and a custom chip put in. Your timing is set up for natural aspiration so is high as well as your factory fueling is lean. with more fuel and less timing youll be able to run more boost without the water injection. yes retarding the base will give some improvement but not enough as well as affect your low end too much.
n/t cars run speed density correct? you could go with a larger map sensor and custom timing/fuel if needed or go mass air with full turbo ecu

No, it's a MAF system. Does anyone know if the n/t ECU is an Eprom? If it is i'll just get it socketed and get a chip.

i believe it varies ecu to ecu like turbo does. id suggest pulling the ecu and taking the cover off, that way youll know 4 sure. id look into upgrading to a different mas. 1g is pretty bad i could imagine the n/t one is worse. It should be as simple as a code change in the chip and whatever wiring needed for the plug. It may be easier to write turbo code to it, that way all the wealth of knowledge of the e931 ecu is at your disposal as well. things like stutterbox, nlts, and tons others.
