Water in one of my stock foglights?

Hey guys,

I have a small amount of water in my driver's side foglight. I was wondering if you can just pop off the clear lense cover of the foglight and drain it out? If not, what's the best way to get it out of there? It was actually in there the day I bought the car, and I'm thinking the water has possibly been sitting in there for years. If so, I wonder if I can expect a permanent discoloration of the lense where the water level has been at? If so I wonder if it's cleanable...

Actually you can dismount the fog with three screws (loosen the single one and remove the 2 on one side).

Then remove the fog, and you should be able to remove the water thru the hole where the h3 gets inserted.


AS far as cleaning it I really have never tried any disassembling, but I bet it would be similar to the head light painting where you have to remove the clips and bake it at 225-250 to loosen the adhesive/sealant to get the front lens off.
