When timing starts being pulled, you need to add some fuel. So if your timing is going on a steady upward trend (like it's supposed to) like 14-14.5-15-15.5-16 then suddenly drops back to 14.5, it means your ECU is pulling timing. Add some fuel. The timing usualy gets pulled up top in the RPM range.

Go ahead and replace it for peace of mind. The fuel is not bad. Your log is very good for a factory setup. Don't worry too much right now about fuel control unless you have enough money. But don't go turning up the boost without the proper fuel mods/control. Good luck!

I'd like to point out a couple things. Timing gets pulled for more reasons than not enough fuel. Coolant temp for instance, will drop the timing. The only time you need to add fuel is if you are seeing lean knock, which you look to be clear of.

Redo your logs with just RPM, knock and timing so there are more samples per second.

I don't see any reason to add fuel anywhere, but I will question whether your base timing is set properly. When boost kicks in, your timing should be mid teens at best. See if you are really at 5* BTDC at idle.

When I tried to set the timing at 5 btdc, it acted as if it were going to die out. Can I set the timing with the Data logger plugged in? And can I go by what it says? If so, it's at 8 or 9 degrees. I cant get it to go to a stedy 5 degrees..

Replace what? I have some money...

Replace your o2 sensor. If you've never replaced it, it's probably due up for one. As far as setting timing, you need to use a timing light. Set it at 5* BTDC as a base, and do timing from there.

What if it will not stay idling when I am trying to set the timing.. Cause when I ground the tach sensor, it really changes the way the car idles, almost as if it has a set of lopie cams.
