water in oilpan

ok i snapped my timing belt and just got my head back and put everything back together, car running but sounds odd, and i got water in my oil, i changed oil and it got water in it again, im almost positive i put the gasket on right, ive done it before. Is there any other way that i could be getting water in my oil, And i have some vacuum lines messed up for the TB/egr that i havent straightened out yet. And if its the block that has a crack, any easy way to tell?

ive tunned wrnches for 20 years and last year i did put a head gasket on up side down shit happens any one can be a dummy
