1G Water Getting To the Headliner

Recently we got a hard rain and I noticed that the corner of my headliner was wet on the driver side by the sun visor I'm assuming my windshield gasket is bad but I was wondering if anyone else would happen to know any possible reasons behind this or has experience with water getting in at that area?

During our last heavy snow. The snow and ice acutely dented my roof near the sun roof. This tore the sealant used to seal the sun roof into the roof not the gasket where the glass sits. I had the leak to the front left of the sun roof in the head liner. I would assume that if the sun roof is leaking some where other thay the window seal that that would be where it's getting in from.

I do not have a sun roof, is there still a seal up top that can be damaged to allow water through?

Wow I read that wrong I thought I read sun roof not sun visor. Windshield seal would Def. do it. And drip right around where the a pillar meets the headliner. On my other car I had a leak in the same spot roughly and it turned out to be the door seal. It ran behind it and into the cab.

Yup, you have a leak likely under the trimline, through the window sealant. It may have even bubbled through with rust.

Luckily there is no rust on my car as far as I know I havent seen any surface rust or anything

I haven't done it completely my self, only assisted a friend, but removing the windshield and resealing it wasn't that difficult.

Okay cool thanks for all the help Ill look into getting it done its on my list of things to do im slowly restoring this car but some of the parts are hell to find ....
