For all you newbies and others who look and buy stuff from the classifieds. Amazin' Wasian is a THEIF he told me he was going to send me uicp for $150 but he didnt so now i'm out all that money and i sent it through paypal. I dont want anybody else getting ripped off the way i did i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. All i wanted to do is mod my car like everyone else and of course i had to run into the one LOW LIFE LOSER that apparently cant keep a job and steal from hard working people like most of us on here. For anyone else who have done this: This site is for dsm enthusiast who want to learn and mod there dsm if you need a job spend less time on the cpu and more time at the unemployment office. WATCH OUT AND CHECK PEOPLES BUYER SELLER RATING

That's a lot of money to be paying for a UICP in the first place.

File a claim on PayPal

Yeah,I agree with kawboy. Paypal is actually pretty good about following up on that sort of stuff. Some guy hacked my paypal account and started trying to transfer money to this computer company to buy himself a brand new $1777.80 computer. :toobad: But the dumb a$$ used his own mailing address :tease:. Sucker. Anyways, they were right on it, you just need to sign an affitdavit saying you got nothing from the transaction and well, that's that. But yeah, just 2 months ago i've been taken for a ride once too, almost twice actually if you include the above story. A guy on here I was buying stuff from on the classifieds (a Greddy type s and a MBC) took money from 4 of us and ran and since I've filed a complaint with the Internet crime complaint center but still waiting on an update from that.

But in regards to a next step: just make sure you leave the feedback on his profile, and your side of the story so the mods can see it, and file a claim with paypal. The powers that be on here really would rather there not be a slew of threads like this and be kept to the buyer/seller rating system since that's why it was made but I'm right there with you man. It sucks that people are messing with a good thing like the classifieds by doing stuff like this.

i opened a dispute with paypal. and the main reason for this thread is to warn others b/c before this i dint know how to look at peoples buyer/seller rating. most people just dont care to look or try but i hope everybody reads this and learns from it

There's a good rule to live by: "Buyer Beware!"

Any time you buy anything, think about this. Wal Mart is probably safe, but you should know when to beware, like buying from an individual.

There's another good rule to live by: "Live and Learn" also known as "With age comes wisdom". ;)

Good luck with the PayPal claim.

I was only trying to reemphasize what i read in the rules of the classifieds but I think it was a good idea to open a thread like this and maybe, there should be some sort of list or designated thread with information like this to protect new classifieds buyers. I don't think kenamond was trying to be smart or anything to you, but rather, add some simple phrases to live by for all classifieds buyers in general. So, in short, we're on your side and at least I would like to do what I can to help you out, but all we can do right now is contribute our toughts to this and hope at least one n00b to the classifieds reads it and 2nd guesses their purchase so it doesn't happen to them, like i'm sure you originally inteaded.

your heart is in the right place. keep it up. :thumb:

i agree, the first "rule" was good advice but the second one would be offensive to anyone who this has heppened to meaning they werent old enough to properly think it out. all i'm saying is the first one was more legit than the second because i'm not a noob when it comes to being ripped off or buying used products. even with an outstanding buyer seller rating and all the info on somebody could still result in being ripped off.

Here is the real story it was $150 for a 10.5 hotside, $130 for licp, and $75 for a stock manifold. Yes he did do this to 3 people in 3 days on evolutionm.net everyone did file a report with paypal and I got his info from a previos buyer so anyoone who lives in the OK area pm me if you would like to pay him a visit

How is this thread still open?
Because no one including you never bother to hit the "report post to moderator" button.

pitbullowner_2, I'm sorry that this happened to you but we don't allow this type of threads, reason why we have buyer/seller rating which is working for the most part. Please use the rating system to warn others and post your complain here. Good luck.
