I have no vacuum hose going to my wastegate actuator...Is there suppose to be one going there? If so..where is it suppose to feed from?

not 100% positive for a 1g, but on a 2g it's on the front of the right inner fender. any 1g owners have a diagram?

I see what your talking about. It has 2 hoses.... 1 to the lower IC pipe and 1 to to the air filter can. Would it be alright to tap into the hose going to the BOV?

No you shouldn't have to. There should be a small plastice piece about the size of a golf ball with two nozzles on it. It connects to there. Unless you have a MBC.

Look on top of the air filter.

Yeah, Isee it, but the 2 nozzles are in use. One to the lower IC pipe and One to to the air filter can

Shit...that's becuase he's got a Manual boost controller in there. That's where it hooks up to trust me.

The compressor nipple should go to a T, one of the T goes to the actuator, the other one goes to the inlet of the bcs, the outlet of the bcs goes to the intake pipe near the mas.

Assuming you don't have a mbc, the line to the actuator should be T'ed into the line between your licp and the bcs. Are you experiencing all out boost? How long have you been running it like that? :nono:

About a week ago I lost all boost and since then have been problem shooting. And this is what I think may be causing the boost loss, But I do not see any loose hoses. I will T off the line from the BCS and LICP and connect it to the WG Act. Oh and I do not have a MBC.

OLDMAN you wana come to dallas and guru mycar to perfection.
Ryan Im having similar isues with my swap I hooked the lines up the way they were (wrong) and bosted 7psi in nutral and 14+ at 2k. Hopefully going to get it all worked out tonight. I pick up my REAL boost guage tonight.

Does the hose on the bottom (pointing at engine) go to the base of the aircan?

As Bruce touched on, if the line to the WGA is not connected then you would expect extremely high boost.

Check to make sure that the WGA arm did not come off the lever/nipple for the wastegate flapper.
