Wastegate help please

so i started my car and discovered it wasn't running boost. i popped open the hood and yay look what i found the waste gate almost completley off adn the hose running from the turbo to the wastegate touched the manifold and melted it..... so i know i need a new hose but there is a bigger problem.. the wastegate isn't screwing back in tried to tighten in by screwing it in and it simply dosn't you can push it straight over the threads... i need some help im pretty sure its an external wastegate because it comes of the header its a obx header and wastegate im not sure what mm just need to know if there is a special way to tighten these things or what please help me out... thanks

the only wastegates i have seen have either a 2 bolt flange or a v band flange. are your threads messed up?

Sounds like the threads are messed up. Look at the bolt and see if there is any metal in between the threads of the bolt

yeah its the threads anybody know how to replace those?

the thing is i can't really just take it off its getting stuck om something so do i just take it apart to take it off or what?

Why not post a picture of what you are talking about, since you talk about an external wastegate in your first post? We have NO idea what you are truely talking about. Threads can be taken care of with a heli-coil if that is the deal.

Oh, and grammar/punctuation/spelling are kind of a big deal here, so put a little bit more effort into your posts.
