i know theres alot of people out there that say ebay turbos are junk the fake ones are but wh
at about real used ones? i just got this turbo off ebay for 365 with shipping. What you guys think about it? I have not tested it out yet.

It also came with a 2g o2 housing, 2g exhaust manifold, air intake pipe, uicp, 1g bov

Yeah its oil. There is no in and out or side to side shaft play. is there any other way to see if theres something wrong with it?

Definitely looks like a blown seal, but usually it would have shaft play. If it were me, I'd throw it on and see if it's leaking. If it does need a rebuild, then you can just take off the coldside which isnt a big deal at all. Or, you could rebuild it before you throw it on so you know for sure it's good to go. Your call
