I would really like to see a 1g awd buschur exhaust installed, preferably a rear shot. I'm looking to redo my set up and would like to see how the exhaust exits. I could not find any working pics in my searches.
If anyone has one or knows of some pics please let me know.
Thanks!

Not the best pics, but you get the idea. Mine sits right on the bumper... I haven't seen others sit like it, but I love it:)

Thanks for the pics. Seems like it angles just enough for what i'm looking for. Now I have to see if I can get one with out a muffler.

Yes that is how those wheels sit without any camber correction. The car now has the rear camber in spec, and the front has a little negative so they tuck in the well a little more (still stick out a bit though)

Why do you want one without a muffler?

Only track I've ever ran my car at. Ran there on 11 diferent occasions this year... Prep is hit or miss, and street nights really suck some times.

DSMJeff, Will you be buying it new?

Muffler and tips I've picked up new. I've emailed Buschur to see if I can't get a new stainless catback with out muffler.
and fonz, i'm on ccdsm as, rook.

Those pics looks good. One question though, anyone have any pics of Buschur's exhaust on a 1Gb?

My decision was strictly cost. I put extra labor in designing my own system and building it because I could do it cheaper that buying a ready made system from another vender.

I don't know how you 1g guys have it, but I know the ebay exhausts for 2gs are SO worth the money.

If cost is your main focus I would have a shop bend you up some 2.5 in piping and weld your muffler on. I did that on my old car and mieneke charged me 200 to make a exhaust pipe no resonater and just weld my muffler on, not a bad deal. Or you can do what 123212321 said and find a cheap ebay exhaust and cut the muffler off and put your buschur in it's place.:rocks:

I could make my own up, but I want; 3", stainless, and mandrel bending. I'd rather get the majority of it as one piece rather then welding up multiple sections. Besides I hope to be borrowing a tig welder (or bringing it to a place to use a tig) and won't have a lot of time to spend on it.

I guess I should have said cost with quality. Yes 304SS and all Mandrel bends. I also added 2.5 SS Flex section, High flow cat and the muffler. Everything is flanged and bolted for easy R&R and all hangers are welded directly to the side of the exhaust. Gutter spikes from the hardware store cut to length bent and welded in. The heads make great retainers so the rubber won't fall off.:sneaky: You can see it all burried in this thread http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/new...hould-i-spend-money-thread-merged-10-6-a.html Went looking found it on page 33

Some guy on NEDSM was selling a br 3.5" turboback:D A little more than I want to spend though.
