I just bought the Evo3 16G and i want to up the boost a bit so im going to buy a walbro 255 fuel pump..... Will this install in the stock pumps place or will i need some modification or an install kit?? Thanks

yes it will install in the stock location no need for mods or install kits... but one thing you might think about gettin is a AFPR especially with a 255 most likely its gunna run yur fuel pressure to high that yur stock FPR cant handle it

If you're set on a 255 so you don't have to upgrade later, definitely get an AFPR. For a 16g, a 190 would probably suffice, though.

When you actually decide on a pump and such, follow the vfaq and get a set of flare nut wrenches (also called line wrenches) for the fuel lines. They will be invaluable to you for this install and for later projects.

Edit: Probably doesn't need to be said, but... don't smoke when you're working on this part of the car. ;)

If you don't want to go too big a 190 pump and the rewire kit that is on the Vfaq would do. If you plan on going big then a 255 would best fit ya. Also a FPR will be a good thing to have.

Ha yeah..don't be like my dumbass friend..took this right after we installed a fuel pump on another friend's Supra. He's under the Supra's fuel tank...

Oh yeah, & Get a fuel gauge with that FPR also. I'd suggest a Marshall fuel gauge, as I've heard nothing but bad things about the B&M, and nothing but good things about the Marshall, so that's what I went with.
